Gordon Langford was born in Kingston, Jamaica in the early 50's, attended Jamaica College until 1967, then went to boarding school in England
In 1972/73, back in Jamaica, worked for the company - Town and Commercial Properties Ltd who where constructing the buildings for the new waterfront regeneration project - a hotel, offices and the Ocean Towers apartment building
Completed his valuation surveying qualification in 1976 and worked for the British Inland Revenue Department and Savills, a top firm of Chartered Surveyors, based in London.
In 1978 became member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the worldwide body representing Valuers, Land Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors
During the 80?s and early 90?s, and still based in London, imported and distributed Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee all over Europe and traded other coffee origins
Returned to Jamaica in 1996 to Join the firm Langford & Brown, Valuers and Real Estate Dealers.
2002 Elected President of the Realtors Association of Jamaica
2003 - 2006 member of the Real Estate Board
